Ethics Committee

All APA members are bound by the ethical code of the medical profession, specifically defined in the American Psychiatric Association’s Principles of Medical Ethics With Annotations Especially Applicable to Psychiatry (“Principles”). The NYCPS Ethics Committee is responsible for reviewing and investigating complaints received within our jurisdiction, and making appropriate recommendations to the Executive Council.
