Become a Member!

Do you live and/or work in Manhattan or Staten Island and are interested in joining the New York County Psychiatric Society? Apply for membership through the American Psychiatric Association (APA). You can join at any stage of your career from medical student to established practicing psychiatrist. 

Becoming a member automatically includes membership at three levels: NYCPS (local), NYSPA (state), and APA (national).

American Psychiatric Association (APA): National Membership

New York State Psychiatric Association (NYSPA): State Membership

*New York County Psychiatric Society (NYCPS): Local Membership

Note: NYCPS is a local District Branch of the American Psychiatric Association, representing psychiatrist members who work and/or live in Manhattan and Staten Island only. If you work and live in other boroughs of NYC or in a different part of New York State, please check the NYSPA website HERE to find your local District Branch.
