Three Things About... A Risk Management Seminar
In this program, we will review four core risk management topics about which questions are frequently posed to our Risk Management Consultation Service. Discussion will be a “shallow dive” focused on the three or so most important things you should know about each topic to help reduce professional liability exposures. Topics for discussion will include telepsychiatry, documentation, social media, and treating patients at risk for suicide. Written material covering contracts and risk management will be available. The program will guide early career psychiatrists in focusing their risk reduction efforts and serve as a refresher for established psychiatrists for maintaining a low-risk practice.
