Homelessness in NYC: Why Involuntary Removal is Not the Answer & Strategies for Moving Forward
Join the NYCPS P4CE (Psychiatrists for Community Empowerment) Committee and the Nassau Suffolk District Branch for a discussion about homelessness in NYC. In response to NYC's Involuntary Removal Directive, we will feature a multidisciplinary panel of speakers to learn what this new directive means for providers and patients and discuss strategies for moving forward. There will be an opportunity for member-led Q&A discussion. This event is meant to educate, empower, and mobilize members around this important topic that has significant consequences on our patients and communities.
